Morning, wildsailor types! A quick announcement from me about the digital version of the Wildsea available here on itch.io.

It's been a good year, and I've been blown away by the amount of support the book has gotten, even in digital format - thank you all so much! But it is our wildversary, so it's time for a few changes. 

Change Number One - Price Drop

I've dropped the price of the Wildsea PDF and Digital bundle from 30 USD to 25 USD. For those who were on the edge about buying, maybe this will tip you over it. Maybe you'll wait another year for it to drop to twenty, or pick it up on one of our community copy giveaways (which we'll have another one of soon). As long as you're happy, I'm good with it! For those that have paid the standard price throughout this year, thank you. For those that pay the new one? Thank you too!

Change Number Two - New Free Adventure Coming Soon

I've been working on this  over the past few weeks, and will do over the next couple as well. One-Armed Scissor, a 'starter adventure' for the Wildsea that's designed to be easy to run for complete newbies and hopefully still fun for experienced players, will be added to the existing digital bundle for everyone as soon as it's complete. A starter adventure is one of the most highly requested features we've had over the past year, and given the scope and flexibility of the game it does make sense. How could I say no? :P

Change Number Three - New Free Playtest Version In The Works

Designed to be useful for those that want to test the game out before throwing money our way, our Wildsea Playtest D has seen thousands of downloads since it went live a year and a... half, ish, ago? With a new expansion in the works (more on that in the near future), it seems like a good time to update the core playtest version so that intrigued sorts can have a nicer, more colourful document to flip through or use for test games. When I bring out the new playtest, likely after One-Armed Scissor goes live, I'll add it to the bundle as well for the sake of completion, and likely host it on Itch for free too for ease of access.
